New updates !

Hello and Happy October!

I cannot believe that the end of the year is already here! Right around the corner are the holidays and I wanted to send some updated information to you in the event that you might need or like to schedule an appointment for things that come up during this season or know someone who could use some support.

UPDATED HOURS:

I am now offering Monday afternoon and evenings, and Thursday mornings 830-1pm!

This means I am in the office Mondays from 830am-8:00pm. I am still offering Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5pm-8pm, and Saturdays 8am-1pm.

I am now offering online individual therapy through your client portal on Mondays, Tuesdays (mornings) and Thursdays.

This is a great option for college students, those with a busy work schedule, those traveling and those wanting to stay home or unable to leave home due to childcare issues. I just ask that you find a space where you feel comfortable speaking for 50 min.

Specializations: In addition to my traditional work, I specialize in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). For more information please visit nscounseling.org or contact me for any questions you may have.

Most importantly, if you are living in the Inland Empire, you may have heard about the recent tragic suicides that have occurred in the city of Rancho Cucamonga.

Please remember if you or a someone you know are ever struggling with suicidal thoughts or having thoughts to harm yourself, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call a hotline, or go to your nearest crisis walk in center.

For more information on CRISIS resources, please visit www.nscounseling.org/resources

I have been working with the City of Rancho Cucamonga on how to provide safety plan information to the community and how to help people access their resources for support groups, and individual therapy or other mental health resources. I will also be presenting on this information for the city in a Symposium Mid November, exact date to be announced soon.

If you are interested in a small workshop or a presentation for your work/church/ group on suicide awareness, prevention and what to do in a crisis and how to access resources, please feel free to have your organization contact me for scheduling the event.

(I also provide presentations on Mental Health 101, Self care, Preventing & Recovery from Burn Out, Couples Workshops, Mental Health in the Latino community, and Self Care for Caregivers, Healers and Helpers.)

For more information on the current services offered, please visit: www.nscounseling.org
